2026China Radio and Television Excellence Creation Conference4 opened at the Beijing International Convention Center. Co-hosted by the National Radio and Television Administration and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, the conference is themed "Creating Timeless Classics, Reaching New Heights in Literature and Art."
The Opening Ceremony and Main Forum, themed "Igniting Innovation Vitality, Climbing the Peaks of Art," aims to anchor high-quality development goals for radio, television, and online audio-visual services during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. It will deepen content innovation and dissemination initiatives in the sector, gather industry wisdom, stimulate creative energy, and foster a surge of outstanding works characterized by profound ideas, artistic excellence, and superior production quality—contributing the power of broadcast and audiovisual media to building a leading cultural nation.
The main forum also hosted ceremonies for the release of the 2025—2026 "Audio-Visual China Global Screening" selection results, the launch of "Co-creating a Beautiful Chinese Drama · Sharing a Better Life with Drama," "Sharing Poetry Across the World," and the "Beijing Audio-Visual Campus Tour." The 2025—2026 "Audio-Visual China Global Screening" selected 30 outstanding works, 26 nominated works, 10 excellent promotion agencies, and 10 excellent promotion events.
The conference features a "1+9+6+N" format, including 1 opening ceremonies and main forums, 9 parallel sessions, 6 cultural salons, and N supporting events. It attracts over 1000 industry organizations and 10000 sector representatives.
