The Japan-Korea Joint Cultural Exhibition "Bridge" opened on 9/15 at the Fukuoka Art Museum. This exhibition features 15 contemporary artists from each country, showcasing over 60 works including paintings, sculptures, installations, and video art.
According to curator Yamada, this exhibition aims to provide a platform for dialogue between contemporary artists from Japan and South Korea, two nations that are geographically close and share deep historical ties.
The exhibition runs until 11/30. Throughout the run, artist talks and gallery talks will be held regularly.
